Long Ago
So long ago,
I met a girl...
a girl so much like me.
She liked my style,I said to myself,
my manner of speak.
Sometimes she looked at me.
I'd like to know
What she was all about.
And one day we talked
I got to know
I loved what I found out.
The man is Dr. Suess
Everyone should read his works.
He wrote some pretty deep shit.
So simple and yet so much more.

Hey Doughboy ! I saw your comment on my blog and I wanted to come over and tell you thank you for your kind words . And on the subject of Dr. Suess , my 8 yr old son has every book of Dr. Suess . Have a Merry Christmas !
Dr. Seuss rules!
When my son was 2 years old, he had memorized all the words to Green Eggs and Ham.
I still want to collect all the Dr. Seuss books!

I love dr seuss.
He passed away and they wrote that Cat in the Hat Returns book, whoever the author was, and I thought it was sorry to say the least. His ryme style and way with words were all his own and no one can duplicate that. Props to the original Dr. Suess line up, not any new crap they put out. We all love Dr. Suess. I still have some of his books autographed by my little brother in crayola and markers, LOL.
